Sunrise, Sunset, & Full Moon Kayak Tours

We offer sunrise and early bird trips for those of you who would like to beat the heat or catch the dawn chorus. Sunset and full moon kayak tours are also available, the tours are dependant on park hours that change with the rotation of the earth and daylight savings, so times and locations will be posted on the schedule page.

Sunset Kayaking Experience

Get a front row seat to one of natures most spectacular shows, as the sun slips below the horizon line and the day fades to night.

Full Moon Kayaking Experience

The reflection of the full moon on the water is a magnificent view from a kayak- it is as if you are sitting on a giant mirror floating in the middle of the sky.

Starry Night Discovery

When the sky is completely dark and the stars are bright, experience discovering and naming some of the constellations that can be seen with the naked eye.

At dusk our Firefly Kayaks create ambient light to ensure we are seen by other boat traffic but not to over power the beauty of the night. We also follow all Coast Guard Regulation for a vessel being on water at night. Our guides are highly trained in wilderness medicine and kayak rescue and safety procedures. You can rest assure we utilize all precautions and regulations, so sit back relax and let use facilitate your experience.

Early Birds (Beat the Heat)

This trip is after sunrise but the crisp air of the morning is still present and the creatures are just starting their morning feeding routines, still undisturbed.
