| | Dutton Island Dolphin Adventure
Navigate through tunnels, explore an abandoned sailboat anchorage, hunt for dolphins and manatees, spot many of Northeast Florida's coastal birds such as osprey, heron, egret, and wood stork. We will meander through the estuary on the eastern side of Dutton Island, in intimate tributaries where wading birds go to fish and crabs scatter for safety along the mud banks. As we come around to the western portion of our circum navigation of the island we will enter the ICW where it is a common occurrence to spot playing dolphins and grazing manatees. We will also paddle into a sailboat anchorage where old sailboats have gone to die or await their captains. All along the tour you will learn of the rich history that is woven into the fabric of this region.
